City To Take Action After Lexington Station Prank Goes "Up In Smoke"LEXINGTON, KY-November 11: A Lexington, KY, radio station says it was just a joke, but many listneers aren't amused after WXZZ deejays told listeners that a new smoking ban had passed at midnight the previous night prohibiting smoking in cars. No ban has been passed.

This blog is short. Why? Veterans' Day means no Daily Digest. A number of other sources are also dry today.

So what else is happening?

Speculation continues to run rampant concerning the future of the FCC. The wind blows the pundits in many directions. I have already posted my thoughts and won't rehash them for the sake of making "news".

On the tech front...

SPAM seems to increasing exponentially. Don't sign up for contests! Don't reply to SPAM and don't opt out, as you are normally opting into something else by verifying a valid e-mail address!

Live video over ethernet and Intnet II? Yes it is possible. Details coming soon at prices that are 10% of the Brick solution.

Can you make PEG work for you? Looking for success stories concerning cable access channels. I recently visited HMS which is a PEG channel that has its own equipment, building in Houston, etc. How can you leverage the local Franchise agreement? I can help!! I've done it.

OSTN seems promising, but is the drive in place to make it happen?
