2) Reminder about 23rd Annual College Media Convention February 15-17 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Room rates, sessions schedule and such available at www.columbia.edu/cu/cspa.

3) Be sure to save those tapes/digital files of your stations best work to submit for our awards which will be distributed at the National Covention in New Orleans this October. Details are included with your membership information.

4) From the NAB legal calendar: By January 10 All stations: Place the Issues/Programs List for the October 1 - December 31, 1999, calendar quarter in your public file. By January 31 All stations: Issue W-2 tax forms. All stations: Complete IRS Form 1099 MISC and send to recipients. By February 1 Stations with 11 or more employees: Post OSHA Form 200 (log and summary of occupational injuries and illnesses) or comparable state form.

5) Happy New Year and new school semester. Remember to post any questions about staff recruitment, staff training, staff retention, legal issues and any other questions that crop up to this listserve. Additional expertise equals a better solution or idea.
